Rex White, furniture designer/craftsman, began working with wood in 1981 when he trained for two years under Wendell Castle in Scottsville, New York. He then worked under cabinetmaker, Boris Wulf
and designer/craftsman, C. Stuart Welch in California. In
1986, he opened his own custom furniture business in Fredericksburg,
Texas. Rex has received regional and
national
attention for his craftsmanship and individual styling.
Rex White is a master at his craft. He applies to each of his creations a standard of highest excellence. Each of his works is executed with consistent attention to detail. He uses only the finest hardwoods, hardware and finishes. Finished surfaces are hand-sanded and hand-rubbed to achieve a silky smoothness – the hallmark of Rex’s work.
