Luminous
colors, attention to detail and a great respect for realism are just
some of the magical
qualities you will see as you view the works of Janine Marie
Martens.
A passion for interior design and a love of nature guide her as she
paints florals, botanicals and still lifes.
Janine is intrigued by the source of light and its cast shadow
effect on organic and structural objects.
A tonal artist with a sensitive understanding of pigments and
values, her work displays a fresh and casual glimpse into daily
life. Janine paints in oils and watercolor.
She has studied with Greg Kreutz of the New York Art Students
League, Jeff Legg and Jean Chambers of the Fredericksburg Art
School, Texas. She is a member of the Capitol Art Society and the
Austin Visual Arts Association, Texas. |
