Kay Milam’s passion for color, design and texture is readily apparent in her paintings. She uses bold, bright colors with fine contrasts of lights and darks. Even though Kay paints landscapes, her subject matter is “light” and she paints to try to capture this elusive quality on canvas.

Kay has conducted art classes in her studio and in Continuing Education Classes at Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, Texas, and Gordon Military University in Barnsville, Georgia.  She has taught in workshops and demonstrated for many art groups. Kay Milam’s work can be seen in several galleries in the Texas Hill Country.
