Dan's love of the country comes from his south Texas upbringing.  He was born in San Antonio and educated at the University of Texas at Austin Architecture Department. His love of Architecture and wood was a perfect match for Architectural millwork.

Dan has been in woodworking for over 25 years and has extensive knowledge of premium grade millwork and has held jobs as Project Manager, Estimator, Operations Manager and Plant Managers far away as Los Angeles, California. He has overseen hundreds of jobs but most notable are Carnation World Headquarters, Gries Productions main office, Fiesta Texas Theme Park, Institute of Texan Cultures, Goldie Hawn residence, Howard Hughes residence, Douglas Fairbanks residence St. Mary's Law School Law Library and many banks, libraries, restaurants and churches.

Dan has developed concepts of furniture and interiors from his appreciation of nature and love of outdoor which is reflected by his use of native materials that has instilled his soul since a young boy running through the South Texas brush country.
