Joe Farmer

Joe Farmer grew up in New Mexico and the Rio Grande valley of Texas.  He studied art at Pan American University (now UT Pan American) with a specialty in woods and metal.  He now lives in rural Kerr County, Texas.



His furniture is greatly influenced by the Arts and Crafts movement, most notably - Green and Green.  The furniture reflects his interest in joinery and is often accented with gemstones and carving.  Joe's furniture is in private collections from Colorado to Louisiana and Mexico.  He has received awards from the Texas Furniture Makers Show as well as the Hill Country Arts Foundation.
