The
artist inside was always there; striving to come out even while
Kathy Perales taught fourth grade and especially
when teaching art to 750
elementary
children. Now retired from public school
teaching, she can devote more time to her love-painting. She says,
"At this time in my art journey there are no deep, dark, thought
provoking inner meanings here. Nope, I want my work to bring a
smile to the viewer. That warms my heart and keeps me painting."
