Realism is “reinvented” in my eye-catching paintings, by using a happy twist of design and color that creates a bridge between reality and imagination.  Bold hues and layering techniques make the paintings resonate with color vibration.  The acrylic paintings are based on familiar and casual objects that are simplified in their shapes, but complex in color theory. 

Inspiration for my nature compositions comes from enjoyment of the simple sights and sounds of the Earth, with a desire to portray elements that have universal meaning.   The line of playful expressionist paintings springs from a craving for rhythmic design and color experimentation.  Please enjoy them!
